Withnail i ja (1987)
Opowieść o dwóch kumplach, którzy wybierają się na wypad w góry. Urozmaiceniem wycieczki są alkohol i LSD. Nie trudno przewidzieć, że nie będzie to zwykła wyprawa w góry. Zdaniem czytelników: scenariusz jest świetnie napisany, film jest genialnie wyreżyserowany. Dialogi z filmu stały się niemal kultowe. To po prostu film, który nigdy się nie nudzi.”
Lawrence i Arabia (1962)
Epicki dramat historyczny oparty na historii T.E. Lawrence’a. Film zdobył siedem Oscarów. Zdaniem People Magazine: Mimo ogromnego budżetu i siedmiu Oscarów, najważniejsze jest to, jak opowiedziana jest historia – wywołuje prawdziwe wzruszenie wśród widzów.”

BBC Culture asked their readers, what movies for them are most classic films of British big screen. They chose those:
Withnail & I (1967)
It's a story about two friends, that are travelling into mountains. They want to make things more interesting with alcohol and LSD. It's not hard to predict, what's going to happen. They say the scenario is witten very well. Many of dialogues are famous. It's a movie that doesn't get boring.
Lawrence of Arabia (1962)
An epic historical drama, based on T.E. Lawrence autobiography. This movie won seven Oscars. People Magazine said: Despite enormous budget and all awards, the most important is, how the history is told; it brings real emotions to the viewers.
Disturbing, provoking and ironical. It's an essence of Stanley Kubrick's genious.
